What is VITA?
VITA or Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is a United Way program that provides free tax preparation assistance. This service is available to York County families that earn around $56,000 or less annually. Our expert volunteers help you file your state and federal income taxes, all while making sure you get the most out of your return.
VITA Site
VITA begins on January 22, 2024 through April 15, 2024. Preparers will assist with income tax preparation:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Pathways Community Center, 546 South Cherry Rd Suite L Rock Hill, SC 29732.
- Every Saturday from February 3 through April 6 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at Winthrop University DiGiorigo Student Center, 2020 Alumni Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29733. Please note, our Winthrop Site will be closed March 11-14, 2024.
